Boiler Servicing Exeter

A boiler service will be carried out by one of our Gas Safe Registered Engineers, and typically take around an hour to service. A service includes a number of inspections and tests to ensure the boiler is safe and efficient, in addition to highlighting any issues which need rectifying.

The service includes (but is not limited) to:

1. Visual Inspection of the boiler
2. Checking the internal parts and ensure these are fully cleaned
3. Flue Integrity checks to ensure this is clear and sealed correctly
4. Pipework check
5. Gas pressure assessment to check this and the flow is at the level it should be
6. Magnet Filter clean which collects debris and build up in the boiler
7. Firing up the boiler to check it is running as it should be

Once undertaken we will email you a copy of the service report certificate for safe keeping or we can provide you with a hard copy if you prefer. The report provides details of the checks carried out, along with any repairs or recommendations. We will also update your boiler manufacturer’s service record to ensure the continued warranty of your boiler.

We can send you yearly reminders to let you know when your boiler is due a service, so that’s one less thing to think about!

A boiler service is often confused with a Gas Safety check, however the two are separate. Whilst a boiler service is a safety check, a gas safety certificate is legal requirement for Landlords which confirms the gas installation and appliances are safe to use. We are able to offer both services.
