Gas Engineer

In order to ensure your appliance continues to be safe to use and to prolong its life span, it is important that it is serviced annually (or in-line with the manufacturers guidelines).

When we service your appliance we check there is are no faults and ensure that it is working safely and efficiently. We follow a checklist which includes:

• An examination of the appliance to check its installation and location
• Checking and cleaning various elements of the appliance
• Testing for any leaks
• A pressure test

If we do discover any problems, we will let you know what repair works are necessary and the cost.

Following the service, we will provide you with a Gas Safety report which includes a description and the location of the appliance(s) that we checked and the date we visited the property.

We detail the results of the safety check carried out and include any information on any defects or repair where works are needed or have been undertaken to resolve the issue. The report is then signed by the engineer who undertake the safety check/service and a copy is emailed to you (or we can post a copy to instead if that’s easier).
